A website gets you into the race. What decides whether anyone finds you is the work that happens every month after it launches.

Each month builds on the one before it. More pages answering more of what people actually type, more local links pointing back at you, a Google Business Profile that stays current instead of going stale. None of it resets. Month twelve is worth more than month one precisely because months one to eleven happened — and that is why local businesses who start early are so hard to catch.

What we will not do is tell you where you will land. Where you rank is Google’s decision, and anyone quoting you a position is guessing. What we will tell you is that the work accumulates, that you get Search Console access to watch it happen, and that stopping hands the ground back to whoever kept going.

Money, plainly.

    A quarter to start, the rest on completion

    25% up front books the work in. The remaining 75% is due once the site is finished and you have seen it on your own phone. Nothing else is collected in between.

  2. 02

    Minor changes are included

    Wording, prices on your own services, a colour you have gone off. All three packages cover these for as long as we work together, and you do not need to count them.

  3. 03

    Major changes use a revision

    Anything that adds to the site rather than edits it — a new page being the obvious one. Each package includes a set number of these inside its post-launch support. Past that, we agree the work and the cost with you before any of it starts, so nothing arrives on an invoice you did not expect.

  4. 04

    Hosting and maintenance is £150 a year

    Included for the first year with Sky Is The Limit, then £150 a year. Optional with Basic and Professional — and it is what gives you access to your CMS. It covers hosting, security certificates, updates, backups and checking that your enquiry form is still delivering.

Questions we get asked

When do I pay?

A 25% deposit books the work in. The remaining 75% is due when the site is finished and you have seen it. There is nothing to pay in between and no payment is taken before you know what you are getting.

What counts as a minor change?

Text and colour. Changing your opening hours, rewording a service, swapping a heading, adjusting a shade you have gone off. These are included in all three packages after the site is live, and with hosting and maintenance you can make most of them yourself in the CMS.

What counts as a major change?

Anything that adds to the site rather than edits what is there. A new page is the clearest example. Inside your post-launch support it uses one of your revisions; outside it, or once they are used up, we agree the work and the price with you first.

What happens after the first year of hosting?

On Sky Is The Limit, where the first year is included, it carries on at £150 a year — the same rate as everyone else. The first year being included is a starting discount, not a permanent one, and we would rather tell you that now than at renewal.

Do I have to take the monthly SEO?

No. All three packages build you a site that is set up properly to be found, and you can stop there. The monthly work is what keeps pushing after that, and it is the difference between a site that is findable and a business that keeps getting found.

Why is five pages enough for the Basic package?

For some businesses it is. If you want to be found for several different jobs, you want a page for each of them, and that is the Professional package rather than a bigger Basic one. We will tell you honestly which one your business actually needs.

What counts as a revision?

A revision is one major change after launch — something that adds to the site rather than edits it, like a new page or a new section. Minor changes such as wording, prices and colours never use one. Revisions are used inside your post-launch support: two within 30 days on Basic, three within 90 days on Professional, six within 12 months on Sky Is The Limit. They do not roll over, and changes while we are designing and building the site are part of the build, not revisions.
